Bharat Jodo Yatra: The closing ceremony of the ongoing Bharat Jodo Yatra under the leadership of Rahul Gandhi is to be held in Srinagar on January 30. Meanwhile, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge has invited 21 parties including Bengal CM Mamta Banerjee’s TMC and Nitish Kumar’s JDU.
Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge has called the National Conference, the party of former Jammu and Kashmir CM Farooq Abdullah and Omar Abdullah. Along with this, Mehbooba Mufti’s party PDP has also been invited. Apart from this, letters have also been written to Chandrababu Naidu’s TDP and SS party to participate in the closing ceremony.

The event is dedicated to the memory of Mahatma Gandhi who lost his life on this day in his tireless struggle against the ideology of hatred and violence.
“At this function, we will take a pledge to fight hatred and violence, spread the message of truth, compassion and non-violence and protect the constitutional values of liberty, equality, fraternity and justice for all,” Kharge said.
